Description of the problem	Fuel pump relay fuse (#27) will either blow or melt in fuse box. Replacing fuse will only fix problem temporarily, as melted area in fuse box will cause new fuse to not make consistent contact, leading to vehicle not starting when hot, or even engine cutting off while driving, causing really bad safety issue. Very difficult problem to fix, as dealers either give you the run around or want to replace entire fuse box and engine wiring harness which costs about $2000, parts and labor. 'solution' is to find wire to relay in fuse box, very difficult, and splice in an inline fuse. Have had mechanic and towing fees over $1000 so far, and still only have a bypass fuse installed. Local dealer was aware of the issue, as they see this problem all of the time, was told to call ford, which had never heard of the problem. Another ford owner next door has the exact same problem.
