| Description of the problem | On a 40 degree morning, i turned the rear defroster on to clear windows and mirrors. As i was driving my son to daycare i heard a large pop then smelled burning rubber. Looked and seen the right rear glass shattered and was it shorted out on the heating element. Took the truck to ford and since it is off warranty they told me there s nothing they can do besides charging me $1200 for replacement, very disappointed with ford. If i wanted electrical troubles i would have bought a 1990's dodge! Thanks for nothing. |
