Description of the problem	We are the owners of a 2009 ford f-150. A couple of years ago we received a letter in the mail stating there was a recall on the door and that we needed to take it in for repairs. We followed procedure and took our truck in to the dealership & the recall issue was fixed (or so we thought) and we never gave it a second thought. Well, fast forward to a little over 1 month ago ( approximately 3 years after the 'recall' issue was fixed ), our truck was rear ended by another vehicle. Not a major accident, but a fender bender. When the other vehicle hit our truck, the side passenger door opened/ unlatched. The original recall stated it would/ could unlatch during a side impact, but the recall should have fixed that. In our minds that problem was fixed & we had peace of mind. Well our truck did not receive a side impact, but a rear end impact, and the door issue apparently was not fixed at all. The passenger door opened/ unlatched and mind you, this was a fairly minor accident. Only property damage, no bodily injuries. I am now scared for our safety as i don't feel my family is safe in our truck should another accident occur, especially a bigger impact accident, & having the door unlatch like that instead of properly protecting those inside. I'd love to know what can be done to fix this issue? My family's safety is at stake here.
