Description of the problemKeep getting fault code "check fuel fill inlet" this is cap less fuel tank system. I checked cap less fuel fill inlet seems ok but continue getting fault codes. Hundreds ford customers complaining about same issue, this affects all ford vehicles using cap less design. From what i read on the web currently there is no fix for this problem. I called ford motor co. Warranty group and open a case regarding this issue. My truck currently at the dealership to diagnosis the fault code. I was a design engineer at john deere for 13 years, a problem fuel storage could be dangerous and fatal. Fuel system design problem l should be identified and resolved immediately during development & testing for this truck. I hope nhtsa address this issue seriously and get this issue recall list.
