| Description of the problem | New 2006 ford f150 extended cab, less than 2500 miles, driving in moderate to heavy rain when windshield wipers completely failed. Fortunately the driver, my son, was able to immediately cross 3 lanes of traffic and pull off the road without accident or injury. This is a serious defect / failure that could have resulted in severe injury or death. Wiper motor was replaced at a ford dealership the next day. |
