| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2006 ford f150 pickup truck. He stated that upon attempting to start the vehicle , he smelled a burning odor. Upon further investigation, he noticed all of the wires and the floorboard surrounding the emergency and brake pedal had caught fire overnight while sitting in his driveway. He also noticed soot all over the seats, windows and door panels of the vehicle. The police called and a report was filed. The police officer stated that there were no signs of forced entry and the damage was caused by an internal failure within the truck. No repairs have been made to date. The failure and current mileages were 64,000. |
