| Description of the problem | While driving i heard a pop and the truck jerked to the right. I had no control of the steering. I hit a large tree stump. It caused several thousand dollars of damage. While the insurance appraiser and body shop owner were looking at the truck they discovered that the screw from the tie rod into the rack and pinion steering was stripped. It fell apart taking away all my control of steering the truck. Ford refuses to even look at the truck. *nm |
