| Description of the problem | We have a corroded abs brake wire on our 2006 ford f150 truck. The abs light came on and stayed on. We took it to our dealer and was told it was not covered under our extended warranty due to corrosion. I called ford esp and was told the same thing (does not state this in coverages). When i asked about any covered part not being covered if it has any corrosion on it, i was told it does not cover corrosion. I live in northern ohio and this is impossible if the vehicle is more the a few years old. We believe that this is a brake safety issue and this wire should not have corroded this soon. |
