| Description of the problem | I currently drive a 2006 ford f-150 which i leased new in march of 2006. Since day one i have complained about the brakes on the truck. The brake pedal goes below the gas pedal when the brakes are applied. My wife cannot drive the truck because she constantly hit the brake and gas at the same time. I have checked with other owners and they have the same problem. I have also complained to the dealership and they tell me that this is normal with the new ford trucks. Complaints to ford direct have resulted in no response. I also have the problem of hitting the brake and gas at the same time unless i pump the brakes first, in a panic situation there is not time to pump the brakes. This problem is an accident waiting to happen. *ak |
