| Description of the problem | Driving 2006 ford f150 and heard a loud hissing noise and awful smell. I tried to come to a stop at the next four way stop and i realized i had no brakes. I couldn't even push the pedal in. I had to have it towed to the nearest dealer and they looked at it and found the brake vacuum had popped off the intake. The dealer required me to have a new updated vacuum line installed at my expense because ford had redesigned it so the would come off. Not sure why this is my problem seems like it should have been fords??? |
