Description of the problem	April 14, 2014 after leaving my doctors office i buckled my seatbelt as required by federal law i made one left hand turn and stopped for a red light as i began my turn to the right when light changed the sealbelt came loose from the buckle. The top of the buckle was stuck downward and would not release for me to buckle it again. When returning home i called mike shad ford in jacksonville florida where i purchased it. I was told my truck was out of warranty and they would replace it for $294. 71 dollars it was not on a recall list. I therefore called ford motor company and tried to explain to the young lady whom answered the phone what happened telling her it needed to be put on a recall list she refused to listen and hung up. I then called the nhtsa and reported it to them. I am sure i am not the only one who purchased that year truck that this has happened to. I feel that ford should have replaced my part free of charge however they did not. So i paid for the new part and it was installed by a trained ford technician. I feel i should be reimbursed by ford if not the dealer. Complaint number by nhtsa 10584144. *js
