| Description of the problem | The engine began to tick on top. Later it began to tick on the bottom. The engine light came on and i had it checked. The code said it was a cam sensor. As it turned out the engine was not getting the proper amount of oil due to a clogged a oil port restriction. End result had to replace the engine. While at the service center another truck came in with the same problem with similar mileage. Now my son who has a 2005 ford f150 is experiencing the same issues with his truck with 96000 miles that's three that i know of. |
