| Description of the problem | Vehicle began to smell like gas in the cab on numerous occasions. Took it to ford dealership mechanic and was told that the source of the gas smell could not be found. A few days later upon starting the vehicle, a very loud explosive sound was heard under the hood. The vehicle was turned off and towed back to the ford dealership where it was determined that the original #2 spark plug had blown out of the engine and damaged the head. Repair exceeding $700 with absolutely no responsibility taken by ford. Repeat incident less than one year later with another cylinder. |
