| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2006 ford f150. While driving approximately 45 mph, the vehicle stalled. The failure occurred in january 2009, june 2009 and again in october 2009. The failure became more frequent and progressively worse over time. The vehicle would completely shut down with no warning lights; she would be able to restart after three attempts. She took the vehicle to the dealership and was told that they could not duplicate the failure. She called the manufacturer who stated that she should take the vehicle back to the dealer. The vehicle has not been repaired to-date. The current mileage was approximately 74,000. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000. |
