| Description of the problem | My 2006 f 150 has shut off twice on me while driving on the freeway. And after barely avoiding the semi behind me i managed to pull off the side of the freeway and turned the key off , after waiting about a minute i turned the key on and the car ran fine for about three months and then it happened again on the freeway. The light comes on to signify that the problem is the electronic throttle control, but i called around a few places and they all say the same thing ,they cant do anything unless the check engine light is on. Does some one have to die in order for ford to fix this problem.. Is it worth losing a life over? |
