| Description of the problem | I own a 2006 ford f-150 supercrew 4x4. It has about 90,000 miles on it. My motor has knocked since purchasing the vehicle. I have taken it to the dealership several times to try and correct the problem. It has a 5. 4 l engine in it. I have had the plugs replaced which cost me 800 dollars due to the mechanics breaking two plugs and i had to pay them to fix the problem. My issue, is there a problem with the motor knocking/tapping when idling. If so how can it be fixed. The dealership is not help. |
