| Description of the problem | Dt*: the contact stated two weeks after purchasing the vehicle while accelerating, the engine sputtered and the check engine light illuminated. The dealership was unable to determine the problem, but replaced the fuel injector. The vehicle operated worse after the repair. The manufacturer sent an engineer to test drive the vehicle. While driving at an unknown speed, smoke flowed from the engine compartment. The vehicle was pulled over and then erupted in flames. A police report was taken and the fire department extinguished the fire. The two rear tires and tailgate were the only salvageable parts. Due to the extensive damage, the cause of the fire was unknown. *ak |
