| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2006 ford f-150. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer to repaired for recall 11v107000 (air bags:frontal driver side inflator module). After receiving the vehicle from the dealer, the air bag light illuminated immediately. When she took the vehicle back to the dealer, the mechanic stated that the sensor was the cause of the failure. The contact noticed no problems with the air bags until the vehicle was taken in for the recall repair. The contact called the manufacturer who referred her to a different dealer that refused to repair the vehicle. The vehicle had not been repaired a second time. The current and failure mileages were approximately 83,000. |
