| Description of the problem | I have now replaced both the front driver and passenger side window regulators on my 2004 f150 lariat. The driver-side window fell in june 2009 @127k mi. The passenger-side windows fell today (6/17/2010) @ 149k miles. The costs of replacing the regulator in each case were as follows: passenger side: $$539. 47 driver side: $500. 00 given all the reported incidents of this that i am seeing reported on various websites and forums, i strongly recommend that the nhtsa. Demand a manufacturer's recall for this obvious quality defect that is: 1) costly to repair 2) creates a dangerous in-car situation when it occurs during operation of the vehicle.
