Description of the problem	It looks like there will have to be a number of injuries or deaths before a recall is put in effect here. I have a ford f150 supercrew 2004, the driver's side window dropped and shattered suddenly while driving in heavy traffic with a loud noise and shattered glass. I thought i was shot at, at the time and was very lucky there was not a serious accident killing and injuring many people. Kids were crying and all inside vehicle were very upset. Afterwards i removed the window glass and the regulator assembly and the problem is the plastic clips that hold the control cables in place. They appear to be cheap and fragile and obviously break easily and for no reason, letting the cables come out of their guides and therefore dropping the window unexpectedly. I have taken numerous pictures if anyone from ford, nhtsa or anyone else would like to see. This incident really screwed up a otherwise great day because of shoddy engineering and quality from a american car company (ford). I am in the process of buying and replacing this window regulator myself at a cost of $187 + tax + time + inconvenience with no assurance this will not happen again.
