| Description of the problem | Drivers side window was down sunday, warm out, went to put it up and nothing worked, just a grinding noise. After removing the door panel , window regulator gone bad, wiring everywhere. After a minor internet search thousands of complaints about this part. Apparently when they fail the window drops and in some instances the windows break, causing major damage in the door. This is a safety hazard . Now i have to pay to have this repaired, but i will not pay ford for there incompetence and refusal to correct a known factory defect !!! 2004 ford f150 !!! I had reservations in buying a ford and now i know why,, same company,, nothings changed. |
