Description of the problem	2004 xlt regular cab: under 14,000 miles on the vehicle and when i go to roll up the window the other day, i hear a pop and it sank back into the door. Another bad window regulator! Quoted $380 to fix from the dealer. If you read previous comments on the 2004 f-150 you'll see that this is quite the common problem. And for every post about window problems on this website, how many other people have this problem and don't report it here - 10x as many? 20x as many? This is obviously a widespread problem that ford motor company needs to live up to. The replacement part is exactly the same, so i guess i can expect another replacement soon! And to think that i thought that only getting a standard cab with 2 windows might help me avoid this problem!!! Luckily, my incident occurred in fair weather. I can only imagine the safety concerns that i would have had i been in inclement weather.
