Description of the problem	I own a 2004 f-150 crew cab ford truck. I have had to replace 3 of the 4 window regulators in this vehicle. Each one has broken at different times. The ford dealerships replaced them at a cost of almost a thousand dollars for all three. The driver side window regulator is the only one so far not to break. Currently it is making a grinding sound. All three have broken within the past twelve months. This is a great expense to me as well as a great danger. While driving down the road one window regulator broke and the window fell into the bottom of the door. One broke while the vehicle was not moving and the other one broke while i was raising the window up from being down. I have contacted the ford dealership about the problem. The service department admits that there needs to be a recall due to their being a wide scale problem with the window regulators breaking. At the same time ford refuses to issue a recall on the problem. Ford motor company should be forced to issue a recall on the window regulators and be forced to reimburse owners of the expenses for having to replace the window regulators. Once again, i have spent almost a thousand dollars to replace three window regulators. And the last window appears to be malfunctioning now.
