| Description of the problem | 3rd power window regulator failure in 1. 5 yrs on 2004 ford f-150 supercrew truck. When regulator fails, it sounds as though someone struck or shot the window causing me to jump and take my eyes off the road to see what had happened and if any passengers were injured almost causing me to collide with an on-coming vehicle. I have had two of the regulators replaced by a local paint and body shop where i was told that it is a known problem with the regulators. My cost to date has been in excess of $350 and i now have two suction cups holding one window up until i can afford to have it repaired. |
