| Description of the problem | 2004 ford f150 power windows (regulator) fail. There is a "pop" and then they simply free fall into the door. 3 out of 4 windows have failed. The first 2 years ago, the other 2 in the last 4 months. A quick internet search shows this is an extremely common problem. The number of failures indicates a faulty design rather than routine wear and maintenance. Ford should cover replacement/repair cost. |
