Description of the problem	I was driving down i-85 south heading towards lagrange, ga at approx. 65 mph and my rear window just fell all the way down. It scared the living daylights out of me because i thought the rear door had opened up. I took it to the shop and was told that the regulator went out. I explained that the rear window is hardly ever used and my mechanic stated that there have been a lot of issues with ford and this specific problem. The repair was $ 294 dollars, but the bigger concern is that my recent inquiry of the internet leads me to believe that this is not an isolated incident. There have been thousands of complaints and nhtsa has made a recommendation to ford to recall these defective regulators, however, to date, they have ignored said recommendation. I believe this not only to be a defect, but also a safety issue. Please consider reviewing your recommendation to ford and make it a mandatory recall. Thank you!
