| Description of the problem | I own a ford f-150 2004 4x4 four door lariat model truck. I have had to replace three of the four window regulators at a cost in excess of $300 each. When i inquired ford about the problem tn the service manager told me this was a common problem on all f-150 models manufactured from the mid 1990's on. They also went on to say that the part couldn't be warranted for more than a year and that the replacement had not better chance of long life then did the others. This is no doubt a design/manufacturing defect which should be corrected before someone is hurt or killed. I know ford, like many other american firms, is having a rough time with this economy but there is no excuse for this flagrant disregard of their responsibility to ford customers. |
