| Description of the problem | On dec 31, 2008, while driving to dinner, i heard a loud noise and assumed something hit my vehicle. My window then began slowly sliding down. I was told that the regulator was broken and i needed to replace the entire mechanism (regulator and motor), i could only get the part through a ford dealership. The complete repair (part and labor) cost me approx. $380. 00. On nov 16, 2009 (11 months later) the same thing again happens to my rear passenger side window. I was not driving this time. The vehicle was parked at my home. I received an estimate stating that i would be paying nearly the same cost as before. |
