| Description of the problem | My complaint is for my 2004 ford f150 window regulator. I now have 2 windows that are broke and ford wants approx. $500 each to fix. The first situation was with the whole family in the truck, we heard a loud pop and thought we hit something, then the window just slid down inside the door. We were out of town and had to find tape or something to hold the window up because it was cold outside. The 2nd situation i was by myself coming home from work and pop again which made me so mad that it could happen twice. I had to take the door panels off and the windows are now held up with a rip cord and all the electric windows have been disconnected so we cannot even open any of them. Ford needs to fix this poor design that they know about for free and recall this model. |
