| Description of the problem | While driving, heard a loud "pop", "klunk". After rolling down my window, tried to roll it back up, but now won't roll up. This has happened to 3 of my windows. The problem with 1st window occurred 1 yr ago--other 2 window broke w/in a few weeks of each-other. I've had one window repaired. The dealer said a small plastic part broke and that it is a common problem. Cost to repair one window: 360. 00!!! This is a safety problem---if you cannot roll your window up, it leaves the driver vulnerable. Why would ford use a small plastic part on such a big component of a truck? Is there a recall on this part? If not, can you please explain why not? I would not be so upset if this problem occurred in 1 window, but three?? Now i'm waiting for the 4th window to go. And at 360. 00 a pop! Something just isn't right. |
