| Description of the problem | There is a problem with ford f150 window regulator cables. They are under pressure, fail and snap with an extremely loud bang. The one on my driver's side front door window failed on 07/17/08 at 23,446 miles when i was going down the road at about 35 mph. The noise was so loud i thought someone shot my door, causing me jump and swerve in my lane. The one on my front passenger's side window door failed on 08/24/09 at 30,779 miles going down the freeway at 70 mph. Internet research reveals that this is occurring to many people. This piece is obviously defective and the problem should be remedied by ford before someone gets hurt. |
