Description of the problem	As many others, i too have a 2004 ford f-150 with defective power windows. The regulator in the driver side door has broken twice and the regulator in the rear passenger door has broken once. Ford charges $400 to repair it. The service man told me that the defective piece is a plastic wheel with a cable. The part alone cost $190. 2004 was the year the ford redesigned the f-150. They obviously engineered a cheaply made electric window regulator and are aware of it but have not recalled the part. Ford should be made to uphold its commitment to providing quality products. In five years, i have only lowered the rear window maybe five times. So the problem is not overuse. It's simply poor craftsmanship and terrible customer service.
