Description of the problem	While driving, i heard a loud bang and then the drivers' side window fell down into the door with a loud crash. It scared the heck out of me, as i thought someone had hit me or been hit by debris on the highway. This caused me to hit my brakes because i was very confused for a moment looking around for what happened. This made several drivers behind me slam on their brakes and of course honk at me because they could see no reason for the hard braking. After getting home and figuring out what happened, i looked up the problem on the internet an found literally hundreds of posts from other ford owners regarding the same problem. I also found it will will actually happen to all four of my windows because the plastic piece used at the end of the cable brakes due heat/cold/moisture. The replacement cable is not available as a separate part, but instead must be purchased as part of the whole motor assembly which costs approximately $350/$400 per window after the cost for parts and labor to install.
