| Description of the problem | Power window regulator failure: this is the second power regulator failure on my 2004 f150. First regulator was on front driver window last year. Second regulator failure was last week on passenger window. Repair cost is approx. $450 per failure. I have a crew cab with four window. My research indicates this is a very frequent problem with f150 models 2004 through 2008. These failures can happen at any time. First time was on the highway during winter. My 2 year old was in the back seat and had to endure some very cold wind during our ride home (lucky for us it wasn't raining). |
