| Description of the problem | Ford f150 2004 driver's side window dropped suddenly while driving with a loud noise. I removed the window regulator assembly and the problem is the plastic clips that hold the control cables in place. They appear to be cheap and fragile and break easily letting the cables come out of their guides and therefore dropping the window unexpectedly. Luckily i was driving slowly in a parking lot but if it would have happened in a highway for example it could have led to an accident because there is a loud noise and then the window just drops into the door. |
