| Description of the problem | Vehicle window regulator fails. It is associated with a loud bang. The window then falls into the door. The window is now unable to be moved. The vehicle is now not able to be secured. This is the third window regulator failure on my vehicle. Started with drivers side, then passenger side, now the passenger side rear failed. Dealer reported that this is very common and is due to a faulty part. Ford will not address this problem and fails to fix / replace the regulators until they fail. This part needs to be recalled and all windows fixed prior to failure. |
