Description of the problem	I was sitting in my home office with my 2004 ford f 150 parked right outside where i could see it. All of a sudden just out of the blue, the driver side window (which was closed) drops completely into its cavity with no cause and the alarm starts beeping. It turns out after inspecting the vehicle, doing a little research online, and then removing the door panel to further inspect it that a cable which operates the window to go up and down had broken. I have not taken this any further yet as it is the weekend, but will contact ford on monday to see what their reaction is. I feel this could be a very dangerous situation if it were to happen while someone was driving the vehicle. My online research turn up many instances of this happening to others with ford f 150 trucks, some reporting as many as 3 instances!
