| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2004 ford f-150. While driving at an unknown speed, the cruise control activated on its own. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that the set spring of the vehicle speed control needed to be replaced. Immediately after the repair, the failure resurfaced. She took the vehicle back to the dealer and they stated that she would have to replace the part again at her expense. The vehicle has not been repaired again.
