Description of the problem	Ford f150 truck - the truck intermittenly exhibits severe vibration that can be felt in the steering wheel as well as in the cab. The whole truck shackes when this occurs. The vibration occurs primarily at speeds of 40-60 mph; but, has occurred at speeds in the 75 mph range too. There is a low level vibration that is present most of the time while driving. This low level vibration turns into the severe vibration periodically. The problem occurs on smooth pavement. It is very scarey when this problem occurs. The drive shaft and engine mounts have been replaced and the dealer tried 4 new tires on the truck too. The problem still exists..... Alas it is intermittent and the dealer has not seen it. One interesting fact. When the dealer puts the truck on the lift to check it, the problem goes away for a week or two; but, then returns.
