| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2004 ford f-150. The vehicle was taken to the dealer in response to the recall under nhtsa campaign id number: 11v107000 (frontal:driver side inflator module). Prior to the repairs the contact stated the air bag warning light was illuminated on the instrument panel. The recall repairs were performed on the vehicle. After the repairs the contact stated the air bag warning light continued to illuminate. The dealer was contacted and stated it could be caused by a failure in the seat belt. The dealer stated that the vehicle be taken in for diagnostic testing and would not be covered under the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 72,100. |
