| Description of the problem | Overdrive on my 2004 ford f150 bit the dust after only 55000 miles. Mechanic could not rebuild the transmission had to be replaced. Cost $2356. 78 to repair! Of course truck was out of warranty! Bob boyd ford dealership in lancaster, ohio was less than helpful. Mechanic discovered that the case had large grooves in it where the sealing rings on the output shaft ride. |
