| Description of the problem | I just bought a brand new 2004 f150 4. 6 l 4x4 super cab on january 31, 2004. Upon acceleration there is a noticeable jingling/rattling noise coming from the engine area. I have taken the truck back to the dealership service department 4 times and have talked to fords customer service department numerous times. They claim this is normal vacuum resonance coming from the intake. In my opinion a brand new truck that rattles or jingles upon acceleration has a design defect or there is a defect with my truck. In either case ford ought to fix it. Fords position is that this is my problem not their problem. *cb |
