| Description of the problem | I purchased this vehicle aug. 31,2004. At approximately 700 miles the vehicle was returned to the dealer for vibration in the steering wheel and tires. After multiple attempts to repair the problem no solution has been found. I have been informed by the dealer that ford is aware of this problem and is working on it but at this the vehicle can not be repaired. The engine has a rough idle when hot, or sitting at a stop light, this roughness transfers to the transmission when driving. The dealer states ford will not allow repairs to be made for this problem at this time. I am very dissatisfied with this product and the manufacturers response.*ak |
