| Description of the problem | Spark plug blew out of engine. Happened once in 2009 right side of engine. Had head repaired with heli-coil kit. Replaced plugs, plug wires, coil. Repairs cost in excess of $700. Happened again in january of 2011. Same side of engine, same plug. Not repaired yet. This is a tremendous fire/safety hazard. Gas vapors trapped in engine compartment with the firing plug dangling free. Could start an engine fire. Very dangerous! |
