| Description of the problem | 2004 ford f-150. Consumer writes in regards to recall concerning wiring harness could chafe and break and cause the airbag to deploy *tgw the consumer stated after the wiring harness was replaced under the recall, the air bag light continued to stay on. The consumer returned to the dealer, where it was discovered the air bag control module had failed. The consumer believed the wiring breaking and shorting caused the module to fail. The consumer was informed he would have to pay for the module even though the recall item may have caused the failure. *jb |
