| Description of the problem | Safety recall s34 was received in june 2016. Parts are still not available. Proposed repair only addresses the root cause but does not repair the clutch pressure plate diaphragm spring which is being "fatigued or fractured" by the clutch pedal over travel problem. For cars with significant mileage or age, such as ours, the proposed recall does not eliminate the potential failure as the clutch pressure plate has already been subject to significant over travel. |
