| Description of the problem | I have a 2002 dodge 1500 pickup truck. It has approximately 30,000 miles and has always been garaged. It is in like new condition except for the dash board which has recently formed many hairline cracks. I have been reading on line, motor trend thread, that this is an apparent problem with these vehicles and can develop into grave safety issues. In fact the dashboards in some vehicles have collapsed and have caused electric problems. Also the airbags integrity is questioned. You may have already received complaints from other people regarding this issue. I have contacted chrysler/dodge regarding this problem and have not heard back from them. Please let me know what i can do to assure my families safety? Outside of not driving the truck i am unsure what else to do? |
