| Description of the problem | Takata recall. I received a recall notice from fiat chrysler automobiles (r25/nhtsa 15v-313) that was termed as an "interim notification letter" quite a few months ago stating that i would be notified when the repair parts become available. To date i have not received any further notices about the availability of parts. I had a similar experience with the last recall on my dodge ram 3500. It appears that fiat chrysler is purposefully failing to notify consumers of parts availability. I believe this warrants further investigation by the nhtsa to find out why fiat chrysler has failed to advise consumers of the availibilty of parts. I checked fiat chrysler's web site a few minutes ago and it states that parts are available so i don't know why i was not notified by them. |
