| Description of the problem | My 2005 dodge ram 3500 began to have a problem with the steering beginning may 6, 2010. While turning, the steering wheel would jerk back and forth. It then became very hard to turn the wheel and felt like it didn't have power steering. Took the truck to mechanic on may 13, 2010 and had to have the steering gear box replaced. The mechanic stated that he has seen this same problem with several dodge trucks recently and all had bad steering gear boxes. |
