The contact was driving approximately 20 mph on normal road conditions when the heater system was activated; however, the blower fan failed without warning. The failure occurred intermittently. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection. The failure was contributed to the steering column wiring harness. The vehicle has not been repaired for the malfunction.
